The Seattle Mashathon will follow the same format as previous events in Amsterdam <http://worldcat.org/devnet/blog/2009/05/worldcat_mashathon_a_huge_succ.html > and New York <http://infomotions.com/blog/2008/11/worldcat-hackathon/> . Participants will spend the two days brainstorming and coding mash-ups with local systems and other Web services to take advantage of all that WorldCat <http://www.worldcat.org/> , the world¹s largest and most comprehensive bibliographic database, has to offer. Developers from the library community and beyond are encouraged to attend.
