Hey everyone,
Today the Sherman Library's homegrown study room reservation site went live
with limited room availability (only 10 rooms) for public testing through the
end of the year. Unfortunately, without a university login or a card you can't

case.

Hi Matt,
I gave a related talk in late 2009 -- with an emphasis on the
repository/digital content side of the house -- and many of the slides are
still relevant. Use as much or as little is helpful to you. (FWIW, I was
hired for the position.)
From where I'm standing one of the most important trends in digital libraries

software that can be purchased, or it is prohibitively expensive

Hi Bess and all,
I would add that we need to strengthen open source governance models.
We have few in the field: Kuali, duraspace, koha-community, Sakai

Although it's more anecdotal (rather than statistical), fan mail can

Normally I'm more of a text than a video kind of guy, but this is a good
rant that's given me some ideas. Definitely worth a visit for others who
are thinking of this stuff.
The hard part with measuring impact for low use materials is having a good
idea of where to look.

The link I shared is now accessible for anyone to view. Since I have never
