Re: [CODE4LIB] LibX and new Firefox rules

2015-12-16 Thread Annette Bailey
Hi Bill,

We are aware of the Firefox issue. Godmar has been in touch with Firefox to
get their blessing to allow LibX to be a verified extension.

Re: [CODE4LIB] LibX 2.0 Libapps

2014-02-12 Thread Annette Bailey
LibX 2.0 and Libapps are currently being supported by the LibX project
(Godmar and Annette, at the moment). We have published some brief
documentation on the technology behind Libapps and the Masters thesis that
was published on this technology development.

http://libx.org/how-to-create-your-own-libapps-in-libx-2-0/

If anyone is interested in building Libapps and has questions, please do
contact us at libx.org @ gmail.com or me directly at afbailey @ vt.edu.

A possible incentive for mentoring could be a registration slot at the
conference (not paid for, just not having to join the stampede). It might
encourage participation.

Hey Ranti,

We do subscribe to Serials Solutions, but the title lists Godmar is
referring to are the title lists from the vendors that we get the content
from not the knowledge base that we then update.

Roy,

Just to clarify, you have to be an OCLC cataloging member to use this
beyond 100 uses per day, correct?

Thanks,
