I'm pretty much on the same page as Kev with the solution: implement a connection stack with configurable modules and then implement an encryption module. Implementing SSL shouldn't be too hard technically, the socket connection layer in ircu is pretty well encapsulated or it was at one time (it's been a while since I worked on the code). It'll burn some CPU but that may or may not be an issue. Sounds like an interesting and fun project. Do all c
