[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-1690) Make show menubar in full screen optional
Christian Lenz created NETBEANS-1690: Summary: Make show menubar in full screen optional Key: NETBEANS-1690 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-1690 Project: NetBeans Issue Type: Improvement Components: platform - Window System Affects Versions: 10.0 Reporter: Christian Lenz It is really annoying, when I go into the full screen mode, where I can see only my tabs and when I hover the tabs and I'm a bit above my tab, the menubar appears. I know why this was added, because we gain space which is nice. But I don't like the behaviour that I have to be precise on hovering my tabs to not disturb from the menubar. So I would prefer to have an option to say, when I hover a bit above the tabs, menubar should appear or not. But IMHO is should be configurable. If I don't want this menubar at all, nothing should happn. What could be nice is, if I hit ALT, it should appear anyways. Same happens for Firefox for example. So I have another possibility to go to menu entries via ALT + F or whatever but it will not appear, while hovering. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v7.6.3#76005) - To unsubscribe, e-mail: commits-unsubscr...@netbeans.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: commits-h...@netbeans.apache.org For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists

Doesn't make much sense to prevent it or not supporting it for other LaF. So for me I always use Darcula. The problem now is that smooth scrolling is not possible anymore. But in general, yes the smooth scrolling problems with the editor still exist w/o darcula. I wrote my cases, where it worked at the mailing list. I couldn't find time to make a video for that, sry.
