After fixing the web cam, it asks me once for each use. So if I activate the 
mic, it ask me once, if I activate the web can, it asks me another time, and if 
I deactivate both and re activate them, it will ask me again once for the cam 
and another for the mic and so on ...

Apparently this happens for large files when the user clicks on 'download' more 
than once as the file needs time to be prepared for saving, I have reproduced 
it this way...

1. log in

2. click on room 7

3. enter the room

4. connection disconnects, keep trying to re connect (by turning the mic 
off an on)

5. start recording a window (document with voice)

6. recording shows with orange triangle informing that the file does not 
exist, so I drop it in recycle bin.

7. exit the room

8. log out

Thanks Max, good job.

The harmony between om,  kurento and turn is a key factor in this 
project success, I noticed:

1. few warnings in kurento logs that were not there before

2. error 401 has returned to the turn server.

3. new warnings in om log.

It is true that no exceptions were thrown, or errors registered, but, it 
is useful to review the logs of these three servers by a professional 
eye like your Max :-)

True that email is more of off-line, however, it is used for notification for 
most of our applications to users, SMS are used for urgent issues. Social media 
application has been avoided by most corporations as they do not

My steps are:
1) enter the room as moderator in FF or MS,
2) enter the same room as regular user in FF or MS, on another PC over the 
internet.
3) As moderator drop video to WB from 'My recordings'.
Result: regular user not can see the video on WB
4) As moderator, I click play.
Result: regular user not can see the video on WB, however, if he hovers over 
the WB, he can see only a frame (boarder) of the video, as if there is 
'something' there. (I could not capture it :()



BUT, if the moderator drops a video into the WB from 'Public recordings', all 
works as expected, regardless of browser type or OS.

if you drop a picture, pdf, doc or even draw on the whiteboard, it shows 
directly to all participants whiteboards in the room, however, if you drop a 
video, it show only on the moderator whiteboard and not on participants

 (y) however, they only have 'minimize' and 'close', but can be resized to user 
need.

(/) dropping pictures and documents on the white board is shared as expected,

Very much correct, and they are functioning as expected. Teachers and IAs are 
making good use of it.

However, currently, we have three people with the task of managing translations 
only, so they must have 'admin' rights while they should not go even close to 
any other admin functionary.

We have also two tech persons whom are following among other things 
configuration, mail and connections (we do not have LDAP) and we use database 
back up. They should not come to any user/group/room configuration, but they 
have 'admin' rights, so they can override user/room/group settings.

Mistakes can happen, and when it does, we can only go to openmeetings.log to 
see what, when and who.

Only if OM has logging interface that shows all activities, it will make life 
much easier ;) and of course, that would be a separate privilege ;) ;) ;)
