kramasamy opened a new issue #2592: Package a docker compose file in the release distriution URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-pulsar/issues/2592 With a docker compose file, it will be easy to try out pulsar and pulsar dashboard. The steps will be - Download and extract the release distribution - docker compose will bring up pulsar and pulsar dashboard - you can use the extracted cli to interact with pulsar running in the docker - you can use the browser to visit the monitoring logs etc This will simplify to quite an extent and still provide a glimpse of all the functionality.
