Same set up NB 12.4 and Java 16. After opening the project ctrl click worked for a while. It opened the target java file and the UI was responsive too. I was able to navigate to about 3-4 files. But after about 30 seconds the same thing happened upon ctrl clicking. The UI froze. I killed NB, restarted it and tried the same thing again. This time, the UI Froze upon the first ctrl click itself!
