merlimat opened a new issue #1250: Metadata lookup for a non-persistent partitioned topic returns there are no partitions URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-pulsar/issues/1250 When using a non-persistent topic with partitions, the metadata can be set correctly through the `pulsar-admin` tool. However, when a producer tries to use this topic, it will not discover that this is partitioned and will use it as a single topic.
