The ASF is hosting its North America conference in Austin, Texas, April 13
- 16, 2015.

They're still welcoming submissions —you have until Feb 1 to get them in

http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/apachecon-north-america

As well as technical talks, talks from end users of ASF technology, such as
how to make effective use of it, or cluster operations experience are
equally welcome. Don't be afraid of submitting, or of talking.

It's a great event, with great people working in and with ASF projects
across the board. Where else can you sit down with someone from the log4j
team to discuss performant logging, found out about newly-incubating
projects you may want to join in on, then go into a session on the
technical aspects of building web servers into Arduino boards?
