Hi
I'm having this same issue. Navit starts just fine. I start if from
a terminal and there are no errors, but neither are there maps. I have
the following line in my ~/.navit/navit.xml (startup messages show me
it's using this file):

i just disabled this default mapset and now 'it works' ... just try to

Super, thanks Sebastian,
Are you navit's maintainter then? (Just curious).
Could you provide an idea when the feeds will be rebuilt, or any
background info on how that happens?
Thanks again,

thanks risto!
navit sitll does not run... i have a guess: I have 99% of space used on /
maybe navit has not enough space to run (I'm sure it's installation went ok
because i got no errors). Now i'll try to put my shr on sd card (neotool,
then a bit of luck) then i'll try again to run navit. Thanks

navit.xml.
Recent packages of navit include a better config sample for the Neo
(internal, with better settings for icon_xs and co). I can share my
navit.xml if needed.

Did you install navit-dev? ... It provides symlinks which navit tries
to use. You can also tweak config, but that's
tried all:
- installed shr on a big sd card
- installed navit first form opkg repos
- tried navit - no result
- modified navit.xml with internal gui - no result
- export NAVIT_LIBDIR=/usr/lib/ - no result
- installed latest navit - no result
get the very same error (???)
what is your error? run

I installed navit via

I tried to run navit but with no luck.
Yhen i added in the right place this lines

map type=binfile

need to be configured.

navit might require libgps16, simply make link from libgps17 /make sure
it's installed)
IIRC in that case, navit should start, but would not receive data from
GPS.
