Is that the frequency of the tones or the sampling rate ? The codec in the neo
has a 48kHz max sampling rate which

That is an interesting idea. In any project there seems to be some
interesting low-hanging fruit that can be grabbed with little effort
and cost. It just occurred to me that there the an IR remote
controller might
IR LED would be perfect!
Just think, normal mobiles like my siemens can't access the IR hardware
because java(on the siemens) doesn't allow it. Only symbians can access IR
as far as I know..
It would be brilliant if I could use the openmoko as a remote for my hifi
and my pc maybe, and for tv,
