A new release of Neon is available.
This is a major feature enhancements release.

* Images can be now auto-rotated by images dimensions (not by EXIF
data).

Yes, if EFL library (evas, ecore, edje) and python bindings are
available, it should run without changes.
I develop Neon under debian so I am pretty sure of that.
