FR only accepts 100 or 500 mA current I think. So yes, it will be "powered" by it in the sense that the FR battery will have a longer life; but it should not be enought i think because the FR seems to need more than 100 mA and I don't think it will accept something like 250mA. It's 500 or 100. BTW

The base software is just that. Base software. It will function as an everyday phone with dialer, SMS, and contacts. So, you can take that base and build on it, by yourself or with others. Or, come August timeframe you can get the Beta release of ASU. FSO is a framework or middleware if you like.

One thing necessary is a nameserver, but also iptables probably. file /etc/resolv.conf in the Neo or Freerunner whould read nameserver 192.168.0.200 and in the PC I run dnsmasq as the nameserver.
