PISI 0.5 released
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 PISI 0.5 has just been released. Changes are: - - Fixing most of the bugs that were discussed on the list here over the past months - - Syncml contacts support; although there is still a problem with a depending package, which causes a seg fault (just didn't want to wait any longer as I wanted to bring through the bug fixes mentioned above). The package has made it to SHR-U repository already. If you want to install manually, here is the link: http://github.com/downloads/kichkasch/pisi/pisi_0.5-r0.4_all.ipk Thank you all for your feedback. Re: Upgrades for SHR-unstable
I also had an issue with the March 31 upgrade and my contact list. I didn't have much time to work on it so I dropped back to Feb 3 release of SHR-U. One other thing I have found is if I attempt to adjust the volume or mic from the sliders in the active call window the volume and the mic drops to zero and I can't hear or can't be heard. Forces me to mode gsmhandset file manually. -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Upgrades-for-SHR-unstable-tp4836611p4844104.html Sent from the Openmoko Community mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

The problem looks like your shr-unstable can not rotate the screen to get 640x480. I am not sure about the current situation with xglamo, xserver, etc + xrandr. It looks like with some kernels it is able to rotate X with xrandr, and with other kernels we can not. The script fatfingershell.sh is the proper script to run fatfingershell. If you try the binary it will complain with graphic mode and libsdl terminal. So we need, first, to solve the rotate problem with different distros and current kernels. If you only want to understand sdlterminal (fatfingershell uses it) you can use its home page : http://www.loria.fr/~rougier/sdl-terminal.html It seems that the site is broken or it does not exist anymore :( I have the sources somewhere, so I can send you those or we can ask author. IIRC the binary library for fatfingershell is under /usr/share/fatfingershell/libs.
