Unable to compile SHR in Ubuntu (Compile Time error in libphone-ui.bb)
Hi, I encountered an compile time error during shr building. When compiling the shr-unstable version with "make image" in libphone-ui-0.0.0+gitr0+b27fdc66289cc98ca1fc5241fa847a962a422ad4-r0/git/src/phoneui-info.c . (present in work/armv4t-oe-linux-gnueabi/libphone-ui-0.0.0+gitr0+b27fdc66289cc98ca1fc5241fa847a962a422ad4-r0/git/src/phoneui-info.c) There is a method argument conflict phoneui-info.c. Method name "_get_pdp_context_status_callback " When calling this method "free_smartphone_gsm_pdp_get_context_status_finish" inside the function the third argument expected is char ** defined in freesmartphone.h, but here an enum is passed. I just commented this method and it compiles fine. Should I check out the source from some other repository or I have the wrong source (I did all this through the makefile). GameRunner 0.2 is out ! : snes9x, more games, and fixes
Hi, we have released a new GameRunner version : 0.2. More games, and new features. GameRunner is an Openmoko Linux distribution. It aims to convert the Freerunner open mobile phone into a Linux-based handheld game console. It is simple, and contains cool open source games suitable for Linux mobile devices. New stuff : * new simple app fileselector (finger friendly), useful for Super Nintendo Emulator and Mplayer * added Snes9x (Super Nintendo Emulator), Mplayer, GNURobbo, fatfingershell, and Block Rage game * pressing power button any time quits the current game (resets X and GUI) * added help screen for every game using GameRunner game control The help screen also asks user to start the game with sound or no sound. Changes : * fixes in Gamerunner game control : works always and better. Now red aux button light means mode 2, so we can know which mode is the current one. Touchscreen control is more accurate. Get the files:http://gamerunner.sourceforge.net/download_installation.html Home Page and Forum: http://gamerunner.sourceforge.net Current List of Games: http://gamerunner.sourceforge.net/games.html Enjoy! Re: Pisi, googleCalendar, and pimlicodates
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi Russell, I haven't initially programmed the calendar part of PISI - but I remember that there was some mechanism to remember events that were deleted (otherwise they would always show up again and again) ... so I guess, that this might be the problem: PISI knows the event entries; however - they are deleted on one side; so consequently, PISI deletes on the other side as well because it thinks, you deleted manually!? Possible with your set up? For a solution you could delete everything under ~/.pisi/ but the conf file. Please let me know, whether this worked for you; otherwise I would need some more feedback as well ... best Michael On 05/11/2010 07:08 PM, undrwater wrote: > > I've used pisi in the past and it has worked well to sync my google calendar > with pimlico dates. SHR : fullscreen mode for applications ?
Hi folks, the GameRunner distribution (kudos !) made me want to play chess again, so I installed xboard/gnuchess on my SHR. But because of the enlightenment top shelf, the board is not as big as possible (it's bigger in GameRunner). Do you have any idea to launch a software in fullscreen mode/always on top ? I know it's possible, tangogps has a fullscreen mode. Thanks in advance, Xavier. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Java ME for QtMoko
Hello, I added a new package called "phonetiQ" [1] to QtMoko feed (Main Menu->Settings->Software Packages). It is a GUI for phoneME [2] (Java ME Virtual Machine) that allows you to easily install and use VM and midlets. So, QtMoko is capable to run usual J2ME apps at decent speed now :D. Of course, there are many bugs and limitations in the current version of VM (e.g. virtual keyboard does not works), but a number of games that I tested was 100% playable. You may search a video "phoneME on QtMoko" on YouTube to see how it works. I also found a simple open source game TouchSenku [3] that can be used for test purposes (you can download it directly from the GUI). Quick start instructions are available at the project wiki [4]. Running SHR in Qemu
Hi, How can I run SHR in the qemu. Currently I am using the SHR Images kernel_wildcard="uImage-om-gta01-latest.bin" rootfs_wildcard="lite-om-gta01.jffs2" uboot_wildcard="u-boot-gta01bv3-1.3.1+svnr4297+gitb29661fc115106454288051bc9a488351ce8-r3.bin" The qemu boot fine , after loading the kernel it stops. Should I be using any other kernel.I did not find any tutorial on running shr on qemu. I also tried to build the shr-unstable , but the build stops with an error libphone-ui_bb.git where there is an compile time error. Using (Ubuntu -karmic -9.10) Regards Saravanan.L ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: QtMoko v22
Hi all, I started using v22 as my default phone a couple days ago, and for the most part it has been very stable and worked great. However, I've noticed that the contact name resolution (for incoming calls) doesn't work. If I initiate the call it works fine, but whenever I have something incoming, I have no idea who it is from. Strangely enough, it works fine on incoming sms though. Is there something similar to SHR's phoneutils.conf file that I should be editing?
