Re: Intone lockup

2010-07-19 Thread carcin...@gmx.net

i fixed this by using oss via mplayer user cofiguration. There is also a ticket
about that on intones tracker at sf.

Another question would be, is there anybody who develops intone. Project seems
to hang...

i mentioned this on the user list, but i have a suspicion this is the
fault of mplayer.
mplayer used to be able to pause and resume, since about feb ive
noticed i can no longer pause then resume any play lists. i made note
of this one the lists a while ago, but received no responses.

I've got quite the same pb here, with intone - 0.66+svnr76-r3.4

I can play a song, but if I pause it and try to play another song from
another folder it stops responding...

I answer myself : export LC_ALL=fr_FR.UTF-8 seems to be the thing to do...

PISI and/or opimd, and utf-8

2010-07-19 Thread Xavier Cremaschi
Hi folks,

I can't import my contacts from an utf-8 vcf file into opimd (shr-t of
end of may) with PISI.

I had the same problem one year ago IIRC... :

** Error: Changes to source 2 (OPIMD) could not be applied due to the
following reason: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe9' in
position 30: ordinal not in range(128)

Any solution ? How do you manage your contacts ?
Xavier.

I will try this night, if I can

It's the u-boot I was using (and the one I reflashed again this morning). I
had never suffered for WSOD after suspend before...

I din't face such problem. But we can try to investigate it.
First, interesting, is it temperature-dependent stuff?

To test this, can you put suspended fr in fridge for 5 mins?

Second, can you try do you get same issue with default u-boot?

I'm now getting WSOD after a long suspend. It's the very first time it happens
to my FR (with any kernel).

Do you know if is there any fix to this problem?
