OpenMoko Leather case V 2.0
Hello, I'd like to by an OpenMoko Leather case V 2.0, the one with the two additional belt loops, like this: http://www.tuxbrain.com/en/content/openmoko-leather-case-v-20 Is there some reseller in *.de for this (or someone who does not need it anymore)? Re: [SHR] Unable to load with Qi from uSD card (was CLEANMARKER node found [and something more I can't read] )

I installed qi bootloader, and formated a Trascend 4GB SDHC card with ext3 format, and then uncompressed full-om-gta02.tar.gz file on it. But when I load from qi, the card seems to not work. I have used the rootdelay=5 as Qi article says, but after 5 seconds it seems not to be able to read the card, and the kernel panics. I tried a lot of combinations, but I can't boot. This is what I get, I expect there aren't errors as I have typed it by hand: mmc1: new high speed SDHC card at address b368 mmcblk0: mmc1:b368 USD 3.74 GiB mmcblk0: unknown partition table Waiting 5sec before mounting root device... But both are supported by 2.6.39 config and IIRC were also enabled in 2.6.37. On my append-GTA02 I have: rootdelay=5 rootfstype=ext2 loglevel=8 quiet splash qi built by SHR has already rootwait included in default params (instead of rootdelay=1), what you have to do with some uSD cards is to slow down glamo_mci clock. ie glamo_mci.sd_max_clk=100 in append-GTA02, see last comment from GNUtoo http://trac.shr-project.org/trac/ticket/1275 but the clock is different for different cards ie my card works fine with default clock and with glamo_mci.sd_max_clk=100 doesn't work at all. GNUtoo is trying to upgrade gta kernel to resolve it.. wiki spam - urgent
Dear all, mainly old openmoko admins, we have been dealing with the spam attacks on wiki.openmoko.org quite successfully until now, but it s getting more and more difficult. I have now cleared over 600 posts (big THANKS to everyone, who keeps marking spams as for speedy deletion), which is about weekly/biweekly spam dosage, but as every page requires three clicks, you do the math for what muscle memory my fingers are developing :) If there is anyone able to help from the admin side, suggestions have been posted here. http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/User_talk:Vanous on what could/should be implemented to eliminate spambots. We also need more people to be granted erase permissions, i think it is clear from the logs who contributes and is eligible. If admins have no time, is there anyone with mediawiki experiences who could implement the given suggestions easily (given they would need to be granted some required access)? Please stand up. thank you Petr ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Many of us will use the GTA02 for a long time yet and QtMoko is definitely the better solution for everyday usage, IMHO :) I was just thinking to do some experiments in the next weeks and it would be great to work on the new release! Sure, dont be afraid, i am not dropping GTA02 support at all. My plan is just to skip some releases which are not important for GTA02. New features are being developed for all GTA01, GTA02 and GTA04 devices. We had some discussions today during our ohsw.de worksop with EvilDragon, the current force behind the OpenPandora. Besdides trying to convince him to put FSO on the Pandora, he was interested in a port of QtMoko since they have no finger-friendly user interface to choose. I think this could be a chance to bring both devices and communities a little closer, since we already have very similar technology inside and almost the same open source minded niche-for-the-connoiseur attitude. What would you need to consider adding the Pandora to the QtMoko systems? Would it be possible (without sacrificing the GTA01/02/04 activities)? We also need more people to be granted erase permissions, i think it is clear from the logs who contributes and is eligible. I apologize, it's not clear to me but I will add erase or admin permissions if you give me a list of user names. I do not believe this solves the bigger problem though, even though the spam deletion efforts are truly amazing. Over on the Qi wiki, we have a much more recent MediaWiki 1.18 or so with visual math captcha etc. I think very soon the Openmoko community has to make a decision whether we want to upgrade the MediaWiki version and include the latest spam fighting extensions, or turn the entire wiki into a read-only resource. Thanks a lot for speaking up, and helping keep the Openmoko wiki clean... It would be nice to have more devices, although i can test/do releases just for GTA0*, but i can apply patches. If they want to ty QtMoko on pandora, they can try GTA04 tarbal and adjust /opt/qtmoko/qpe.env so that QTOPIA_PHONE=Dummy and it should start.
