Re: [QtMoko] Suggestion for an external mailing list

2011-07-13 Thread matteo sanvy
Hello Giotti :D
I reply to confirm that I get this email 1 hour ago, so now it seems to work...
Anyway, I think that we should keep this mailing list, because today
this is the most followed by the whole community, and to see that this
project is so well developed can make understand that not all is dead.
This is my (badly expressed) opinion :)

Best Regards

Re: Android on freerunner useable as daily phone?

2010-12-26 Thread matteo sanvy
Hi,
I am using Android on Freerunner cupcake as daily phone without problems; my
version is 20100130 (released on 30th gen 2010), is a bit bugged but has no
important problem, the main defect is with mp4 and youtube player. Bettery
life is around 12-14h in standby and about 8h with some calls (without #1024
fix); also, wifi takes a lot of battery (about 4h with wifi on and no
standby). On the other hand, i can use market and a lot of apps ;) mp3, gps,
sms and calls work good, but video player (as i said before) has some
problem.

I hope this can help you.
Bye,
Sanvy

PS: sorry if i will not reply for some days, but i'll leave city for holiday
and i'll have no internet connection.

Re: GTA04 : which new life for GTA02 motheboards ?

2010-11-22 Thread matteo sanvy
i don't know about GTA04 GPS system, i'm not well informed about it.

>(mine is a netbook motherboard nailed on
>the wall!)
epic win :P

however, ethernet over usb is not a great idea: if you don't find an adapter
with external power, your battery will hardly resist for more than an hour
xD on the other hand, if you use wireless you can plug the AC adapter on the
usb port.

You could make a little and low-power server wtih it, or a gps antenna for
the netbook/notebook, or, also, you could make a combo with arduino using
her antennas and accelerometers for some projects...
