warranty issues

Hello, can somebody tell me if I will lose my warranty when I open my Freerunner. I don't know if I am allowed to remove the seal which is on one of the two torx screws. I don't want to solder just check the connection plug of the GPS antenna. Does it depend on the distributor or the country?
