Have you tried to delete everything that is in the home folder ? (this will
delete your contacts to so you may want to take a backup of qtopia_db.sqlite
in /home/root if I remember correct..

/opt/Trolltech/Qtopia/qpe.sh stop
rm -rf /home/root/*
/opt/Trolltech/Qtopia/qpe.sh start

or something

 correctly, since I was sleeping.

When I have plugged it into the computer, it doesn't boot. Well, at
least not Qt Extended. The boot process goes well, it casts the same
amount of error as usual, but at one point this happens:

 Starting at daemon atd.

Then, the screen is deleted and you only see a text cursor flashing,
like it was loading a graphical server. From time to time, it seems it
try to bring some screen, but fails (I think I cannot explain better).

Net is initialized, so I can ssh into my phone, but I don't know what to
do. I have no found sytem logs, nor graphical server log, nor anyother
 useful log.

I have looked in the list, but no one seems to have the same problem.

 Any advice?

I just made a new image with the SystemRingTones folder included and change
the rootfs to the one that is used in the Qt Extended 4.4.1 image.

The new image is ~29 Mb smaller then the last one to..!;)

Morten, I tried your update and now bluetooth works. Thanks. However, the

begins playback but then the progress bar does not move and there is no

The mwester kernel that is provided with 4.4.2 release appears to be the
same as that available from mwester site so i did not reflash it. Will
 try
  that too...

Sorry, the kernel provided with 4.4.2 is a testing kernel. Anyway, i
flashed the mwester kernel and copied the modules too. Still it does not
work. I am running qte from NAND if that matters.

Make Documents folder in home dir, put some ringtones and change
 profile
settings. or change path to wav files in
  /home/root/Settings/Trolltech/PhoneProfile.conf

I noticed that /opt/Trolltech/Qtopia/etc/SystemRingTones is missing in the
4.4.2 release. I copied this folder from the old release and it works now.

It is not a bug in qtextended but in the rootfs part of the image that Lorn
did release so I don't have any patches for qtextended.

The only thing I did to make it work is that I did replace the qtextended
files from the 4.4.1 image with the ones that is in the 4.4.2 image..

I've installed 4.4.2 not in the microsd but in the internal flash, with
the kernel that comes with qtextended tar.gz and I hear no sound when
ringing, it just vibrates no matters the configuration.

Re: using openocd

Hi again,

Sorry for my late answer but I havent had time to answer you before now.

Yes the cable does fit in to the GTA02 and the Debug Board and the Reset
button on the Debug Board does reset the GTA02 (it does a hard restart of
the device or something?) but it still does not work. :(

The openocd.conf that I use is the one from
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/OpenOCD#OpenOCD_and_Debug_Board

libftdi is version 0.13
openocd is r130 (from svn)

When you look at the contacts on the cable, you can see that there are
two rows, so you have to plug the cable pretty deep into the connector.
(I think I had only the first row in at the beginning...) On the

There is no special technique. Just push it in.

What I am seeing on a couple of connectors and phones is that the cable
is a bit wider than the opening in the connector. Yes, I know that it
has always been a tight fit, but I wonder if it has gotten worse, as I
can't get the cable in at all now.

4. The phone says that the sim card is not ready or not inserted when i try

and try again).

5. I get asked for entering the pin code twice almost all the time.

Does it exist some fixes for this problems?
