Re: Brief Community Update, January 24, 2008

As usual, we will not predict how long this will take, nor when we will
 start shipping GTA02.

Waiting, waiting, sincerely... :)

Hi!
Has all this has been done on the GTA01?

Have you had problems running gllin under Qtopia?
My Neo doesn´t get a fix from the satellites...

Yeah, it took me ages to get a fix too, I only got one by standing
outside, maybe the neos GPS antenna is not as sensitive as a dedicated
  GPS receiver .
Its very good, goxboxlive, the display could be clearer and the back
button doesn't work, also the start, stop and quit buttons may be
better in the options menu but I applaud you for your work.

Re: Neo1973 and Qtopia with GPS application

2007-12-30 Thread Pratul Kalia
Sorry for being so unclear.
Actually i am very new to the openmoko project. Since i am an avid
python learner, I joined the list; i simply go through every message
and am trying to keep up! :)

I read somewhere that GTA01 did not have integrated GPS? I haven't yet
bought the neo yet, was waiting for the GTA02 shipment. But from the
talk it seems that it does. Am i right?

Hi, i am not sure i understand what you mean. But the image is for GTA01,
either flash the jffs2 image to it, or run from sd card with the
 tar.bz2image.
