you would have to include some qtmoko/qtopia centric macros to get the
look and feel of the qtmoko application.

Check out the sample[1] code or qtextended sample app[2] view the main src

"Are any of GTA02 owners interested in changes since v35, so that i should do
this release also for GTA02?"

Hello Radek,

I am most certainly going to be using my GTA02 as long as I can for
various purposes. I am very much aware of the progress made in the
QtMoko arena and can build my own images for the GTA02 - Vx, thanks
for the elaborate build instruction. I think most owners of the device
by now would have build their own images :)(well I am doing it).

Keep up the good work.

Re: x11vnc and QTMoko

2011-04-03 Thread Ranjit Pillai
Hi,

If you want to use x11vnc with qtmoko, remember that qtmoko runs on
framebuffer and not x11. I tried it with QX but couldn't make it work,
but with a simple cmd at the shell prompt
x11vnc -rawfb console > (device)
and
vncviewer -> client(laptop) was able to
connect to the x11vnc, but don't expect the keyboard access or
anything of that sort.. :)
just recorded a sample video with it ... its with v24

Measure boot time using ttyUSBx on host mach?

2010-11-25 Thread Ranjit Pillai
Scenario
don't have a debug board. Currently NAND have uboot,
kernel(2.6.29-rc3-v24), QtMoko

Can access uboot using ttyACM* but would love to have an output like
http://lists.openmoko.org/nabble.html#nabble-td4204941 with ttyUSBx on
host mach using terminal program like neocon/picocom. Is it really
possible to have ttyUSB enabled all the time of so how to acheive
that?
