and it's looking quite good, but I can't find any definitive answers RE:

I recently got my gta2 running om 2008.12, and I'm enjoying using this
system.
I'm about to start another application, using the gps and touchscreen. I
have a background in python/gtk, but do C/C++ for a day job.
What development framework/tools/libraries would folks recommend? I did a

I've looked at the pubs suggested, and my vote's on the Old
/64, error -71 failures with the wire shipped with my USB external hard
disk happen with both the hard disk and the FreeRunner. The USB wire
shipped with the FreeRunner works with both the hard disk and the
FreeRunner; so I suppose this kind of error is the fault of the wire.

I found the problem. The actual directory being searched by default is
the /usr/share/pixmap. Linphone is installing a directory containing
its various png files there but not putting the extended path into
the desktop.linphone file.
