Great job for your website !

the wish lists : https://shop.goldelico.com/wiki.php?page=GTA04

The actual page has a lot of informations which can be found in the
GTA04 documentation already pointed by the new website proposal.

So I want to suggest to point the new website on a similar shop web
page, but one without so much informations and with the four wish lists
(GTA04, CaseKit, Camera, Battery). The actual informations could be
replaced by links on the gta04 wiki to give a better view of the wish
lists.

I understand that to sell some product it's important to clearly explain
what is inside the product, that's why I want to keep actual page for
the shop and I suggest to add another one simplified for the wish list.

So, with two different page, we can modify actual new web site
interested box by having two links :
  * I want one ! : link to the actual detailed page
  * Show your interest ! : link to the wish lists page

Regards,
Adrien

PS : on both web page, they'll be the same wish list, the new one will
be to just simplify the access to the wish lists.

AFAIR It was already posted and discussed here. It is cheaper than

Specifications looks nice. I still have my working phone, so will not

old input methods on qtmoko 55

2013-05-15 Thread urodelo

Hello
I've installed qtmoko v55 some days ago. Later I've tried to get back the
old input methods as suggested in an old thread, by putting those .so
files in /opt/qtmoko/plugins/inputmethods. The result is a freeze of
qtmoko at boot, after getting the clock image on display. it stops there.

Now i've deleted the .so files and it works again. Probably the don't work
on v55. Anybody can confirm this? Workarounds?

tnx

Re: Help to grow The Independent Mobile Tool Community!

2013-05-10 Thread urodelo
An active membership on mainstream social networks could help, as well as
second choices (b...) like identi.ca, plurk and diaspora... This can
maybe look naif, but this adds more visibility, especially if the accounts
are supported by an attractive website, imho. Just owning a microblogging
account where to share the content of the webpages allows a better rank in
the search engines and therefore more visitors, but you all know this
already. We should use all the ways we can to spread the voice of the
community.
Another thing is that in my opinion we should have a better management of
the resources (especially human resources). Actually we all know that
there are just few of the community who are involved in the development,
for many different reasons. If we could better coordinate, manage the
(sub)project, like qtmoko, shr, firmware dev, news publishing, social
networking, etc, we could probably be more efficient and also involved.
Probably many of us doesn't have the technical skill to contribute to sw
development or build an electronic schema, but maybe are able to run an
OFFICIAL account on diaspora or an OFFICIAL blog. I say official because
in my opinion we (community) need more referring points, for us and for
the new potential users, even at coast of being repetitive; we know that
some on internet just use one kind of social network, others hate them and
just want to read news on blogs and web portals, and so on.
Honestly, I've always seen the lack of a press office here... it's not
fault of anybody and surely this task can't be assigned always to the same
people... but imho we really need a better publishing system for the
community and its news

Hi all,
today I would like to ask you to help to grow the OpenPhoenux Independent
Mobile Tool Community.

Why do we need to grow the community?

We need many more active members contributing in all aspects of such a
project. We need developers, maintainers, testers, people discussing new
ideas, writing blogs, writing comments, going to fairs, making
presentations,
running servers, teaching and convincing others that we are doing
something

useful.

And we need more people interested in our software and hardware or we
will remain a side note of history.

Finally we can't get new members by waiting for them to come by chance.

What is this community about?

There has been a long discussion recently about next generation
OpenPhoenux
devices and I got a lot of valuable inputs indicating that we even need
a broader
view, so that I now feel that I am able to write down what this
community is about.

And very important: what makes it different from other human activities!

This is important because any new prospective community member will ask
you and I hope that my proposals are the right answers to their questions
and make them join our community.

Most of us have origins in the OpenMoko community. OpenMoko did appear
in Nov 2006 as the attempt to provide the first really open Linux
portable
computer with telephony functions. At that time this idea was very new -
it was
announced 2 months before the iPhone 1 - and did catch a lot of
attention.

In the meantime the world has changed a lot. iPhone comes with an
Appstore

which has revolutionized the way independent software developers work.

Google has established Android and the whole smartphone industry has got
to speed to provide cheap (and some crap) devices with Android. Facebook
has appeared and also tries to get their-selves onto the Home screen of
smartphones. Smartphones have developed into tablets and phablets.

Combined with the millions of Apps, that are mini-browsers for specific
tasks, this is more or less the opposite what the personal computer
idea

combined with a world wide web of connected computers was. In that
model everyone did have control over the data that was published.

This means that neither the device hardware nor the software and the
services provided by the network are the most important. I.e. we must see
all three (HW, SW, Services) as parts of a complete OpenPhoenux system.

If we look at what the big players are doing, it can be summarised as:
they fight to capture the user. They want to bring back the mainframe
concept (logically centralised services + dumb terminals) and use that
to provide walled (zoological?) gardens where the user does no longer
have any ownership of the data. They can even find out things about us
we don't know ourselves (at least we are not aware of).

So everything is about incapacitating the users like the Borg does.
Apparently
half of the world population is happily accepting this, because the
devices

are cheap, the software is glamourously polished. And the services are
apparently useful. And because the neighbour also has it. Like a mouse in
an experiment.

And we

Hi,

finally fixed GSM network registration bug so we have now Freerunner
release

with all the nice things that were only for GTA04 previously. The release
tarbal and ubifs images are available here [1], for more info visit our
homepage [2]

Changes since v48:

* ogg content plugin now works (Neil Jerram)
* faster videos
* swapped colors in videos now really fixed
* debian package improvements (Gilles Filippini)
* upgrade to qt 4.8.3
* support for html5 video in browsers
* enable typing in the To field, when sending an email (Neil Jerram)
* avoid QString::arg: Argument missing logs (Neil Jerram)
* position is now showing in media player (Neil Jerram)
* fixed qwslock log warnings (Neil Jerram)
* have libQtScript and libQtDeclarative installed by qbuild (Gilles
Filippini)

* media player uses accelerometers for rotation
* fixed wifi ap to not move around during rescan
* qtmoko apt repo keys are installed by default
* DISPLAY is no longer set in qpe.env to not confuse pulseaudio (Neil
Jerram)

* phonon is now built and can be used by applications
* phonon has fix for swapped colors
* QSplitter class is compiled for better compat with existing apps
* rotate helper is now part of accelerometer library
* fixed Draft message instead of sender in SMS (Neil Jerram Radek
Polak)

* fixed status to be uint64 in mail app db
* fixed invisible text parts in qterminal
* qui utility to show QtMoko message boxes from shell
* gps uses gpsd and gpspipe (Neil Jerram)
* qx - fix setting of DISPLAY variable (Neil Jerram)
* qx - fix Xfbdev invocation (Neil Jerram)
* gps satellites should work again
* updated mokofaen theme (Joif)

I havent tested the release very much, but i hope it is quite ok. I have
noticed that audio stops after few seconds in media player, so you have
to use
qmplayer for now. Maybe this can be solved by installing different
gstreamer

plugin for mp3 instead of fluendo.

If you want to upgrade (also untested), you'll have to configure gpsd
after

upgrade to make gps working. Edit /etc/default/gpsd and set
DEVICES=/dev/ttySAC1

Thanks everyone who helped with this release!

Cheers

Yes, basically they compare the features and price of gta04 with those of
the most common devices (iphoneZ,,, samsung galaxy...). They also complain
that some of the hw is obsolete or absent (camera); also that the os
shipped (debian) doesn't actually allow to make/get calls.

Ok, everybody knows a lower price could push more users to buy it, but
that's like reinventing the wheel. What surprises me a bit is that too
often reviewers are comparing a mass product with something which is not.
They are different objects, like comparing a bicycle and a motorcycle. It
is not clear in the mainstream view that gta04 has been created following
different criteria from the mass production. It is not a device suitable
for everybody; if we (community, producers etc) wanted a mass product,
then it would have been made following the mass market rules (working
conditions etc)

Tnx for the link!

I have used Google translation and hope that I did understand it
correctly...

Well, they argue a little like that e.g. a Ferrari isn't worth its price
if you take the value of the metal, leather and other components.
And it has not its value because there are cheaper cars which give you
more comfortable driving and space for your family...

They are right that the price is high. They simply forget production
cost for small batches and compare to the price of
mass production under unknown working conditions in unknown production
sites. This is similar to what drives the

Ferrari to its high cost. AFAIK, they are hand made.

The key problem is getting down the price. And the only way is to get to
bigger production batches.

We can moan about that (like this article) or do something...

Hi,
QtMoko v45 is out now. You can get images for GTA02 (Freerunner) here[1]
and GTA04 (Phoenux) here[2].

For more info about QtMoko please visit our homepage [3].

This is list of changes since previous v44 version:

  * fixed wifi password not saving problem
  * new big transparent keyboard
  * GTA04 has new 3.4 kernel thanks to Neil Brown
  * GTA04 has now vibra motor support
  * show atmospheric pressure on home screen on GTA04 (Neil Jerram)
  * removed all other input methods from build
  * display wifi icon in title bar
  * run ping on default DNS when wifi icon is clicked
  * gps icon in title bar with number of satellites and fix indicator
  * gps has now api for number of satellites
  * gps plugin for GTA04 now makes gps always enabled
  * GTA04 charge indicator is polling battery every 30s
  * GTA02 gps - checking for ntpserver available with ping (Jiri
Pinkava)

  * qterminal can now run scripts using setDocument() api method
  * scripts for powering on/off modem on GTA04A04
  * charging udev rules for GTA04 (Neil Brown)
  * options to boot from all mmc partitions in shutdown ui
  * build fixes and various code improvements (Yann Dirson)
  * added new freecell game

Probably most noticeable is new keyboard. It has two layouts - one
suitable

for terminal and one for SMS. They look like this:

http://qtmoko.sourceforge.net/screenshots/abc.png
http://qtmoko.sourceforge.net/screenshots/qwerty.png

Layouts are completely customizable. You can easily change key size,
position, background. It's very easy to add international characters and
new layouts. Just have a look at /opt/qtmoko/etc/im/svgkbd/ The layouts
are normal svg images. You can use inkscape to open and edit them. It
should be very clear what to do. Only thing to explain is how you should
name the key XML elements. In Inkscape go to Edit-XML editor and click
on

key. The element name must be in form:

key_QtKeycode_unicode

For possible QtKeycode values check this link[4] and for unicode values
use

your favourite unicode character map.

Please not that my layouts are just very simple. If you manage to create
better ones i will be glad to replace them. I can also make your
national

keyboards variants easily installable from qtmoko apps page.

As for the other changes - you can now make clickable elements in themes
that launch scripts in qterminal. So e.g. you can have icon on
homescreen

with your favourite script. For example how to do it check what happens
when you click the new wifi icon in finxi theme (search for setDocument
string here [5]).

Another nice thing is atmospheric pressure indicator on GTA04
homescreen or

number of gps sattelites/fix indicator on title bar.

One more is freecell game - you can now waste a lot of time here :)

GTA04 owners can now enjoy latest 3.4 kernel thanks to Neil Brown's
amazing
kernel work. I have been running this kernel for several days and all
works

perfectly. No regressions were spotted. Many thanks for this Neil.

Thanks also everyone for their support and work.

Enjoy the release!

Re: Phone wakes up after being powered off

2012-05-21 Thread urodelo
My phone has always suffered for this weird bug too. No matter which
distro I use, if I turn it off, even by taking away the battery and after
some minutes putting it back, after some minutes the haunted fr goes back
to life. This is especially a botehr when you have an alarm set on qtmoko
and didn't use it when the alarm should ring: it rings once the os is up
and running; it's a bother when you turn off the pphone and go to sleep
and then it wakes up and begin to ring for the old alarm

Sorry, I didn't find any solution. You can check old msg on this ml,
others (included me) have reported this issue.

Hello Ed,

The phone was definitely off. After switching it off I verified by
booting into u-boot via power and AUX buttons and selecting power off.

Are the wake up settings cleared by removing the battery (e.g. for 10
minutes)?

I'll test switching off the phone via the init 0 command from a
terminal. rtcwake is available (in QtMoko v26) - is there a specific
command I should use to prevent the phone from turning on when shut
down?

Thanks,

Re: [Marketing] Ideas / Plan

2011-12-30 Thread urodelo

Marketing strategies can also be planned for two different targets:

1st: developers, skilled users, hackers, geeks, etc, etc. In this phase
marketing is mean to publish, inform and possible sale the product to
those interested in the above activities

2nd: once the product will be stable enough and usable for an average
iphone user, then a marketing strategy could be planned to reach the big
market.

In my opinion, without the first, it would be much more difficult for our
community to compete (ok, I know this is such a big word..) with
mainstream products. IF the intention is really to get a phone comparable
with other well known products, there's the need of something stable and
usable, and this can be reached only with the mass help of developers
testers, etc. But if they don't know about it... Mybe talking properly
about marketing for the first phase isn't strongly right, however the
meaning is to spread the voice, inform, publish to that target which could
be interested at the beginning. Therefore I agree with Hassam when he
talks about marketing strategies. I just wanted to point out something.

in, and got the SMS.

So, why should I be excited to buy a GTA04 for the price tag of a
full android? I don't even know if I will be able to reliably receive
the occasional SMS?

Just a question, no ranting.

BTW, I don't think it makes much sense to invest in marketing without
a full product. It seems a too expensive proposition for a small
market of GTA02 and without high confidence of still getting a
reliable phone.

Fernando

coordinate efforts on the wiki, I'm sure Openmoko won't mind us
piggybacking off their wiki ;p
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Marketing_GTA04

Things to mention:

1. The GTA04 *requires* an FR / NEO1974.
This should serve as a request to get people who have these
collecting dust, selling them online. Maybe this should be made more
explicit?

2. The GTA04 has vastly improved on every area of the FR.

3. The GTA04 is made in a proper factory in the EU, and of quality
parts, in small runs - hence the price tag.
This will appeal to those of us who want things done right, not cheap.

4. Though there are non-free chunks, harm has been reduced as much as
possible.
Talking about how the wifi firmware has been isolated so it cannot
interfere with the O/S is a great example.

Areas to Attack:

1. Online and print magazines, news websites:

Slashdot early this month

Re: WebOS for GTA04?

2011-12-16 Thread urodelo

A starting point can be:

https://developer.palm.com/content/resources/development_resources.html

For what I've red til now, they (HP) should also release the application
framework ENYO under open source license. Til now, I couldn't find any
news about its license, probably we still need to wait some time.
Imho, I expect HP to keep a quite strong control over it, they will keep
their patents and go on with their own developers working on webos. In
other words a complete open project wouldn't be worth for them, but I
really hope it'll be open enough to let us (you :-) work on it. I'm
expecting coding will be under the strict control of HP, inside the
community of developers.
Actually they are talking about porting it on other devices, which is at
least a first good step, meaning they wont put limitation on which kind of
devices

However, all this are more speculations than facts...

Wait some time and see what's coming next...

[OT] HP contributes webOS software to the open source community

2011-12-10 Thread urodelo
On the last Friday HP has announced that webOS will be released to the
open source community:

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/HP-Contribute-webOS-Open-iw-1537835314.html;_ylt=Aod5jrA9WGrJyILWp79jGsg6cOF_;_ylu=X3oDMTFqaWd2Ymg3BG1pdANBcnRpY2xlIEJvZHkEcG9zAzIEc2VjA01lZGlhQXJ0aWNsZUJvZHlBc3NlbWJseQ--;_ylg=X3oDMTM2M2lscnYwBGludGwDdXMEbGFuZwNlbi11cwRwc3RhaWQDOTQ2YzY1NzktMTcxMC0zNTczLWE3Y2MtM2UzODEzZDY5NzE4BHBzdGNhdAN0ZWNofHdpcmVsZXNzBHB0A3N0b3J5cGFnZQR0ZXN0Aw--;_ylv=3?x=0

http://developer.palm.com/blog/2011/12/open-source/

At the moment, for what I know, it's not clear under which license the
code will be released. It seems to me that it was the only way to let
webOS survive to the doubtful management of HP. However, I wonder if they
can just give it away getting almost nothing in exchange, considering
their expensive of 1,2 billions $ for buying it from Palm (one of the
worst business ever in the IT. for HP, of course). What makes my thinking
right now, are sentences like will be going open source with the
resources of HP behind it... In other words, HP will keep the control of
the development.
Do they think they can still get anything ($$) from webOS? If not, why
they didn't let everything in the hands of the community?
I've never used webos devices, just red articles about Palm devs,
comments, etc, but I believe that an open source webos could have a
positive impact on openmoko community too. What do you think?

Hi.

You have to install the applications from

Go there with qtmoko's browser, click on the selected application to

Another similar way is to go on Applications menu, select more apps and

Subject: [qtmoko v35] Messaging DB Invalid
Thanks again Radek for your work in keeping the Freerunner dream alive.
Sorry to keep bothering you, but the upgrade process never seems so
straightforward for me :( This time, a completely clean install -
formatted

the partition on my SD card using ext3, downloaded the .tar.gz from
Sourceforge and extracted it onto the card. When I boot, I get a
message box
saying 'Messaging DB Invalid' and 'Messaging cannot operate due to
database

incompatibility'.
I'm not sure where the database should be - I found one post suggesting
it

was in ~/.qmf, but I don't have that file or directory on my system.
I don't know whether it's related, but I also get a message on bootup,
just

before it switches into graphics mode saying something like 'No more
processes at this runlevel'.

Any suggestions for fixing messaging on my phone?

Thanks,
Bernie

Changelog since 0.2 :

 - added The Battle for Wesnoth game
 - added Free Heroes II game
 - added RoadFighter racing game
 - added Xgalaga game
 - added GnuBoy emulator
 - added Xvier (4 in a row) game
 - fixed the problem with ubifs on nand (previous versions used to

 - added bigger icons for launchers
 - improved a bit the snes9x performance

Some random notes :

- Boot time using qi is 15-20 seconds since second boot
- Many games use gamerunner gamecontrol which we wrote to control
games like an external gamepad. With this tool we do not need to modify
games source code in order to use touchscreen and accelerometers as
controls.

If it is hard for you to play games, please, read the documentation on
screen and gamerunner web site. Also, you will find a video explaining
the
two modes feature. The gamecontrol has a lot of command line
arguments,

so you can set your own settings for it.
- Use Power button for exiting any game and get back to main menu.
- Use Aux button for switching mode in games using gamerunner
gamecontrol.
- We have a forum to share suggestions, ideas, contribution work or
report of

bugs. Also, we think openmoko mailing list is fine as well.
- save does not work on The Battle of Wesnoth. We will work on that.

Sorry about the delay for this new version. We got several suggestions on

finally

did, so enjoy :-)

You can run the enlightenment wizard again to get that bar on the shelf

Nope - that's exactly what I'm missing.
And that's one of the most outstanding features that makes the FR better
than a single-application device like the iPhone ;)

What I did to get it fixed:
- click on the 'wrench' icon in the top-bar
- choose 'Settings' (green SHR icon)
- choose 'Profiles'
- choose 'Default', then press 'OK'
- had to go through all initial setup steps again (provider, password,
profile etc).

Then the prev/close/next buttons are available.

BUT THEN:
When I did the same steps above again (to verify that my description was
corrent), I got TWO prev/close/next buttons beyound each other!
And you can repeat this step, adding more and more prev/close/next
buttons ;)

BTW will this set-up not survive a reboot; after that, the
prev/close/next

buttons are lost again.

Re: qdictopia

2011-01-05 Thread urodelo

Thanks Radek,
the eng-czech dictionary works. However, I have some dictionaries in
another folder (shared with shr installation); I've made a link in
/usr/share/stardict/dic/dictionary_1 pointing to /myfolder/dictionary_1/
but qdictopia doesn't show anything, therefore I have the doubt that it is
not able to look in /usr/share/stardict/dic/ subfolders. In fact the
eng-czech dictionary has been installed directly in
/usr/share/stardict/dic/ so that ifo idx files etc were immediately
available there. This is a problem, because I own many dictionaries of the
same language and the name of the dict, ifo files etc. can sometimes be
the same, therefore I can't put them all together in teh same folder,
assuming that qdictopia is able to distinguish the different dictionaries
in the same folder...

Any suggestion about how to solve my problem?

Cupcake is stable and working on the Freerunner. We've recently received

Hi. Thanks for the answer.

So you both are already working on replicant? That's good. I either don't
like the android license, that's because I've thought that having a free

use qtmoko and shr, but for me more choices we have thebetter is. Of
course it's a challenge even because gta02 is now getting a bit old (no

be a good thing for me to have it available for our fr and for next
generation gta. free sw in free runner.

Re: [qtmoko] pim import

2010-10-14 Thread urodelo
Hi.
I've just checked my sim card on another telephone, and it shows the
contacts which shouldn't be there because I've previously deleted them.
This means that qtmoko has copied them from sqlite to the sim, which after
a reboot has imported them back to sqlite, but with the family names
truncated at the 4th character (because the sim card doesn't support so
many characters for a contact, therefore it's not recognized as a
duplicate). This is a behavior which i absolutely want to avoid, how can I
avoid qtmoko to copy to/from sim card?
Thanks

an exact copy of another record: the family name is cut after the 4th

I've noticed a similar behavior looking at the contacts (not) shared
between QtEI (NAND) and QtMoko (uSD) and the one imported/exported via
 http://code.google.com/p/sqt2vcf/.
I think that Qt* automatically export contacts to SIM, but only if they
are of some given kind (may be, for example, TEL;WORK;VOICE, but not
 TEL;HOME;VOICE).
This means that sqt2vcf should be improved...
Moreover, I'd like to have (like in ASU2008 and FDTM) the export to
SIM voice in the contact's menu :-).

 Cheers

I think it's because of touchscreen jitter which this game does not
 like. But
if you try touching it should be possible to play - at i least i was
 able to
 do it.
I've tryed with the tongue too, but I can't move any tile...

I don't know if it's important, but I've kept my home folder, with all the

I believe that the jitter will be possible to solve - either in

 maybe backporting touchscreen filters.

Re: Using Wi-Fi

2010-05-27 Thread urodelo
Hi.
Basically, for knowing network configuration type:

cat /etc/network/interfaces

Freerunner by default uses dhcp for getting an ip address. If you want to
use a static IP, you just need to do as I've told you before
ifconfig eth0 ipofyourfreerunner
where ipofyourfreerunner is the IP address you want to use, for example
192.168.1.100 (must be of the same network class of the notebook wifi
card). Mind that both wifi card on freerunner and notebokk must use static
IP in this case, which is not the default. So you need to change them.
Moreover, if you have used the cable IP address of your notebook as
default gateway, as I understood, this doesn't work! You need to use the
wifi card IP address of the notebook! At this moment, do not consider the
cable adapter of your notebook, think that it doesn't exist.

iwconfig output shows the card is up and running. however there's no
essid. Even if hidden, i think you should see the name there if you're
connected. This can mean that you're out of range or you didn't put the
correct essid
By the way, you should set the wifi connection in ad-hoc mode on both
freerunner and notebook (if supported). On linux you just have to type:

iwconfig eth0 mode ad-hoc

On the notebook I guess there should be a wizard for setting it up...

Last, if it is possible I suggest you to try to connect the freerunner to
a real access point first, which maybe could use dhcp and make everything
easier for you; you can still exchange files between notebook and fr by
connecting both to the same ap. After understanding a bit how it works,
then you can try to set an ad-hoc network between teh notebook and the fr,
which is a bit more complicate

Re: Using Wi-Fi

2010-05-26 Thread urodelo
Hi,
I don't know if you already know how to use a linux system, so that you
can understand the command line. There are some softwares for enabling the
wifi on shr and qtmoko, but with wep basically they never worked for me.
However others told me on this ml about an application for shr, called
iliwi, which works with wep if you are using dhcp on you access point, if
i remember well it already comes with a fresh shr installation. If you
can't use it, because don't have a dhcp server, open a terminal window and
type following commands:

ifconfig eth0 ipofyourfreerunner
route add default gw ipofyourwindowspc
iwconfig eth0 essid yournetworkessid key yourHEXpassphrase

both IP should own to the same network class (ex 192.168.2.202 and
192.2.200). For me, I always need to issue those commands twice for makind
it work; I know I'm connected when the 2nd time I get :
SIOCADDRT: file exists.

Type iwconfig eth0 in a terminal, if it shows that it's associated to the
ap/pc, you can now try to ping your default gateway, and if it works, you
can transfer the file to your pc.

I suggest you to put all the above commmands inside a bash script to run
when you need, it'll be faster and easier

Re: 8 Gigabyte Sandisk MicroSDHC Incompatibility

2010-05-21 Thread urodelo
Just a semi-ot:
I've recently bought a card for my fr which is not exactly listed on the
wiki, so i think it's another sub-type. It should be similar to the card
of the thread:
SanDisk microsdhc 8GB (real 7,6)class 2 - serial: SDSDQ-8192-P36M
On the wiki there are others with similar serial.
I've partitioned and formatted it by putting it in my mp3 reader (also
SanDisk), built 1 fat partition for android and 3 ext. Put back in fr it
is working without problems, even I have to say that my fr is seldom in
suspend mode...
So I wonder, are those general compatibility issues related to
class/speed? Considering my card and the one of Vencabot Teppoo, same
brand, same capacity (apparently at least), maybe just a class different,
I don't understand why mine is working out of the box and his isn't...

Ehm... well not bad for the my first message to the community. I'm using

primary distro, shr and since one week, android. I would like to thank you
all for your great efforts... uhm I mean in a wide sense... I basically
got the freerunner because i believe in its possibilities and in the power
of the community. And because i hate iphone users.

By the way, i think this application could solve many life problems:
-it can give you an excuse to run away when you meet your former gf while
walking around with your new lover
-it can soften the stress of an exam at the uni
-it can persuade the parents of your ugly classmate that you're not the
right guy for their daughter
-useful for getting a quick discount in a shop instead of one hour of
discussion with the clerk
-a scenographic way to escape from a police catch and disappear in a cloud
of smog...
-taking a picture among the public with your most hatred actor/actress in
Cannes, running the app and then looking disgusted at him/her
-entering inside an iPhone shop and pushing out all the customers

However, tomorrow I'll use it inside a bus to see the reactions...
