Re: offline wikipedia/wiktionary
I think it would be nice to also provide wiki.openmoko.org as an image for Mokopedia. -- Please don't send me Word or PowerPoint attachments. offline wikipedia/wiktionary
i'm sure some of you neo/om users out there will like the thought of being able to carry around wikipedia in your pocket, so this might be useful: http://users.softlab.ece.ntua.gr/~ttsiod/buildWikipediaOffline.html it uses python, perl, php, xapian (only for pre-processing the index, on another machine) and django. are those items likely to be ported to om? i've heard mention of python being included, but some of the other stuff is less likely i guess? ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Hi Robin, I think we already have a project that does that and it is called Mokopedia. A wiki page for it exists at http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Mokopedia Regards, Zaid pgpBWZtXcyjQI.pgp Description: PGP signature ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
