Most of the settings are controled via dbus (e.g. suspend). You can use dbus-send to set your own values. [Om2008.9] settings via shell?
Hello, The FB's desktop offers the 'settings' via an icon and using this to change for example the wake-up time of the clock is a bit boring because it always changes other things too, for example the suspend time to 30 secs (and I don't want to have suspend, only screen saver after 30 secs); is there a way to control these 'settings' values from the shell in the FR? thx matthias -- Matthias Apitz Manager Technical Support - OCLC GmbH Gruenwalder Weg 28g - 82041 Oberhaching - Germany t +49-89-61308 351 - f +49-89-61308 399 - m +49-170-4527211 e <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - w http://www.oclc.org/ http://www.UnixArea.de/ b http://gurucubano.blogspot.com/ A computer is like an air conditioner, it stops working when you open Windows Una computadora es como aire acondicionado, deja de funcionar si abres Windows ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
