Most of the settings are controled via dbus (e.g. suspend). You can use 
dbus-send to set your own values.

I don't know how, but if you install illume-config-illume you can edit the
settings more accurately than the default settings program. Please, search
"illume-config-illume" for instructions on how to install.

Hello,

The FB's desktop offers the 'settings' via an icon and using this to
change for example the wake-up time of the clock is a bit boring because
it always changes other things too, for example the suspend time to 30
secs (and I don't want to have suspend, only screen saver after 30
secs);

is there a way to control these 'settings' values from the shell in the
FR?
