I've installed with
# opkg install x11vnc
a VNC server in the FR gadget, created a small icon on the desktop like
this:
# cat /usr/share/applications/x11vnc.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=x11vnc
Comment=Bring up x11vnc
Exec=xterm -e x11vnc -display :
