Maybe just a mention of the Hall of Fame wiki page.  I`m not worried to much 
about cheating. Its against the spirit of the community and I believe most 
people knows this.

Is it relevant to inform about those pools on Community Update?
Personally i think only discussion lists members should vote. Otherwise
someone may start to cheat - chances are low, but this may happen...

Based on the suggestions on the thread i`ll make polls for orrery, 
numptyphysics, sms-sentry. Any others?

Im not going to make one for neon, since I think we probably have enough 
votes?

Also, Im thinking about making the poll options "yes" or "not yet". People can 
then provide reasons why they think the app is not ready for the hall of fame. 
Maybe then giving developers something to focus on.

I agree and suggest using www.doodle.com. Its an online poling thing :) We 
have used it quite a bit here at work. Only the person that makes the poll 
needs to register an account, people can then take the poll with very little 
effort.

I'd say thats somehow related to lib versions SHR uses rather than neon
itself. On OM2009t5 I opened 1600x1200 images and neon didn't complain
once.
One could add to the tested distros section that SHR has problems with
large images. (What is "large" exactly? Could you do some tests?)
