I asked the maintainer of the freegis.org site if he knew of a list
targeted at gps and he did not.
I tried to post to the GPS Software Hub google group and the posting
is being held in the moderation queue. (Moderation is fine but someone
has to do the moderating so that the messages go out in a

Much as I am a member of far too many mailing lists
already, I think that this would be a good idea. As
far as hosting goes, how about a Google or Yahoo
group? If people do not like that idea, it might be
possible for us at Sarai to provide hosting
