Battery time?

2008-04-14 Thread Tomas Gustavsson
At the Openmoko wiki I have found some info about the battery life for the GTA01 but almost nothing about GTA02 (Freerunner). At least someone must have tested how long the battery last before a recharge is needed? And how long will you be able to talk before the battery runs out, anyone who knows

I think that has been one of the top unanswered questions on many peoples minds. I don't think we've gotten a solid answer yet, but I'm sure it will come in time. On Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 12:40 PM, Tomas Gustavsson [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: At the Openmoko wiki I have found some info about the

I think the problem is that there just isn't enough GTA02's around to do extensive testing. Battery life can be a complex thing to chart, especially on a device with as much power using functionality as the GTA02 (wifi, GSM modem, bluetooth, etc). I personally would like to see the following

Yeah, PLEASE give us a terminal! I'm a complete noob at all things Linux but I already don't feel right if I don't have a terminal to mess with... Later when the Neo is a consumer ready device it might be a good idea to take the terminal out of the versions for the general public (or at least hide

* No terminal. Ugh. Do you really need a terminal app on a phone? Most phones do not have a term on them. besides, it is opensource, so anyone could get one working. Any takers? I guess most/all here are geeks. I have to admit that the first thing I want to know before buying a new smart

Hi! So for the longest time, I've been worrying about the battery life of the Neo. Before I buy the GTA02, it is something I'd love to know. The wiki has entries talking about which power management things are implemented and which aren't, and I assume this will increase over time. On the iPhone
