You can use gtkpod[1] with original Mac firmware for the ipod, but I always recommend Rockbox[2], an open source replacement firmware: there is no itunes or gtkpod need for music transfer, more games, themes and a lot of other good stuff. In principle, you should be able to do exactly the same what you can do by running entirely free software on a Linux PC. This is exactly the issue I suggested a wiki page for just a bit ago; http://lists.openmoko.org/pipermail/community/2007-February/003426.html As said, I'd _guess_ it'd probably work, but since it's non-standard, there's valid leeway for it not to, so we'd likely need to document devices that are (un)co-operative directly with the powerless Neo host. -- Mikko Rauhala - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - URL: http://www.iki.fi/mjr/ Kansanedustajaehdokas, Helsinki - URL: http://rauhala.name/ Vaalimasinaattori- URL: http://vaalimasinointi.org/ ___ OpenMoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
