Diversity
I just downloaded the latest 2008.8 kernel fs, and I'm trying to use Locations. I can't ever get a GPS fix though. I try outside in sunny weather, and I get no gps fix, ever! SD card in or out, no fix (wasn't this already kernel patched anyway?) Anyone else experiencing the same problems, or have a solution? Thanks ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Create Diversity Map Pack
Is there a way for end users to easily create a map pack for diversity. It would be good to download tiles to my desktop create a pack and then transfer it to the freerunner for trips. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

2008/8/10 Robert McGinley [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Ok but i want to download large areas of tiles. I want to make a map pack by setting areas and downloading all specific tile levels (kinda like tangogps) if you look in the svn for osm, there's a perl script for downloading the tiles for a given area. i'm sure you could lash the two programmes together with a simple shell script to automatically make your map packages http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/SVN ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
