Ok,
after some test, i guess i missed something, or my o2 buggs,
i receive no new cellbroadcast after leaving my homezone.
currently i only receive cellbroadcasts after reregiserting to the network.
so there must be another variable to use to detect the homezone. maybe
the locationarea code.
Do you observe the same problem? And (now to anyone): Is there a way to
disable wake-up on Cell Broadcasts, if that turns out to be the problem?
i have the problem that i don't receive more than one cell broadcast after
registering with the network.
homezoned sets cellboadcasts to ON, i don't
Obviously, you use O2 as well. Some other Freephone and O2 user had
observed regular wake-ups from the sleep mode, which obviously kills the
battery time, and we thought that the O2 cell broadcasts might cause
these wakeups. I haven’t had my phone long enough myself to really test
this.
Released Version 0.2 of the homezoned
i had the problem with 2 different O2 sim cards, that i don't receive
more than one CB.
i changed the code that i force to receive another CB after changing the
celltower.

Nice! I’m having problems installing the ipkg on a current 2007.2
freerunner, but I’m new in this business, so I might be doing something
gtk+-fastscaling provides gtk+ -- so no need for gtk+.
either the dependencies of the homezone app need to be more accurate or --
the better way -- opkg should handle that more flexible, evaluating the

Hello,
i just finished creating and releasing the first version of my small
project.
For the 2007.02 version a small daemon which handles the homezone
detection and a panel applet to display a small house symbol in the
panel if you in the homezone.
You need both to get it working.
