Migration to 2008.08
1. Is it worthy to migrate to 2008.08 from 2007.02+daily feed? 2. How to import data (SMS + Phone Book) from 2007.02 into 2008.08. Regards PS. BTW how to delete contacts from SIM card? In 2007.07 it doesn't work - after restart they reappear. -- I've probably left my head... somewhere. Please wait untill I find it. Re: Migration to 2008.08
1. I don't think so, mainly because of bug # 1766 - can't be used as a phone. YMMV. 2. negated by 1. Maciej Piechotka wrote: 1. Is it worthy to migrate to 2008.08 from 2007.02+daily feed? 2. It seems it makes telephony working in 2008.08 too. [1] http://docs.openmoko.org/trac/ticket/1766#comment:60 from zecke's comments, it looks like this will be available in his feeds in the next day or so, nice! I currently don't have 2008.8 installed, but if I hear good things then it might be worth trying it again! cool! ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
