Newest stock build doesn't read SIM contacts

Hi all I just uploaded this build: Openmoko-openmoko-devel-image-glibc-ipk-P1-Snapshot-20080718-om-gta02.rootfs.jffs2 to rootfs. My contacts are all stored on my SIM and have been read on the qtopia and ASU image but they are not read in the stock build at all.. Why? I don't want to save
