Dear all, Apt works on top of dpkg and dpkg utilizes the file system (/var/lib/ dpkg/) to maintain its cache/configurations. Opkg should be working on top of ipkg but as far as my analysis it is not so and neither does opkg use any configurations or cache on the file system. Also read somewhere that opkg is a fork of ipkg, which means that it does not depend on ipkg.
