VLC on Freerunner / OM2008.8
Hi, I think this has been asked before, but has anybody tried porting VLC [1] to the FR / OM200x? The VLC website [2] says there is a Zaurus port available for an older version with a different ARM processor, so it could be possible to have one for armv4t. The packages are .ipk. By the way, what sort of system requirements would it have? I have not installed it, but saw it in synaptic. I just tried building it with mokomakefile: make build-package-vlc-gpe The dependencies build, but vlc-gpe fails during configure when testing the compiler. This may be an easy thing to fix for someone who knows their way around OE and autoconf. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
