After the suspend problem with the OM kernels i installed the FSO kernel
from http://shr.bearstech.com/fso-unstable/images/neo1973/ and the
modules in the approriate FSO-image tar.gz file.
After rebooting the kernel run without problems and suspend works again.
So there must be some difference bet

In which mailing list or forum could i reach fso developer to ask them
about this problem?
I searched on www.freesmartphone.org and only found the list on

one should probably ask on the fso-list what's the differen'ce between om

I tested it and suspend doesn't work anymore with the new kernel. Maybe
i have to insmod some module for this to work.
When i look at the zhone.log file i can see that the press of the pwr
button is recognized, but nothing more happens. :/

does suspending by holding pwr for about 4 secs still work?
i tried a kernel+module-tarball about two weeks ago and at least
suspending that way stopped to work -- so i switched back to the
installation kernel+modules.

I tried to get the kernel from http://downloads.openmoko.org/daily/ and
also downloaded the rootfs tar.gz. Than i extracted the
/lib/modules/2.6.24/ directory out of it and copied the kernel and the
modules to my debian system and did depomd -a. Than i added "g_ether"
and "ohci-hcd" to /etc/modules

Hmm doesn't all the debian users update their original OM kernel with
the recent ones?
Apt-get upgrade doesn't update the kernel and modules at all.
Even the debian installer script still uses the "old" kernel and modules
from http://downloads.openmoko.org/framework/milestone2/ which is from

Now that buildhost is no more available i wonder where i could get the
newest OM kernel and modules for use with debian.
I know that i can get the kernel from
http://downloads.openmoko.org/releases/Om2008.8/
but there are no modules package like i found on buildhost. I can't find
any standalone mo
