Joshua, My experience with the 900 Mhz phones is that they work most of the places that people go. The 850s seemed to be in places where you wanted large physical coverage or in hard environments. 850s seemed to be used by companies at the seashore, in mountains, etc. 900 phones worked fine for me. Hi Jason There is a list of Distributors here: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Distributors There only seem to be 2 in North America (1 out of stock), but perhaps one of the other distributors sells GSM 850 handsets as well... Hi, I live in New York City and have been aware of Open Moko for a couple years. I had seen the possibility of purchasing a handset in the United States about a year ago but now that is not an option. Can anyone tell me information about the future of this situation...will there be handsets available in the U.S. any time soon? Thank you for your time.
