I tried this "USB gender changer" and the voltage levels seem to go just about right: normal pc usb port == black GND green 0V white 0V red +5V freerunner as device black GND green 0V white 0V red 0V freerunner as host == black GND green 0V

Hi, I ripped http://iki.fi/lindi/openmoko/openmoko/2-usb-receptables.jpg from an old motherboard. Am I missing something here or could I solder these two receptables together so that they form a gender changer and then put it to the end of my normal openmoko usb cable to produce a usb host cable
