Suggestion is to either
1. Use a POP and forward tool from the new server to pull the mail and forward
to the account on the new server.
or
2. use IMAP to sync the IMail server to a desktop/laptop, then disconnect and
sync with the SmarterMail server.

For our larger domains we used Imapsync which worked. It does take a long to
depending on the speed of your servers but it does get the job done.
