I also managed to connect to WPA2 and open hotspots. But do not get a
nameresolution. I will work on that tonight ... perhabs I find the
problem.
Any idea on your side? Do you get nameresolution?

I had the same problem and fixed this by adding :
up echo nameserver [IPofYourRouter] > /etc/resolv.conf
to the eth0 section of your /etcnetwork/interfaces - file.

I searched the matchbox docu,but wasn't successful at all.
Then I rememdered reading a the display locker Wiki page whis says the
Display Locker is noe part of the neod.

I currently installed the latest image and rootfs from
(http://buildhost.openmoko.org/daily/freerunner/200807/20080720/; not
qtopia).
I installed it on an SD card. I soon realized that the WLan icon in
the title bar is missing - no matter if WLan is activated or not.
Any one an idea?
