Re: [QtMoko] Dictopia Qgcide

2011-04-28 Thread Radek Polak
About Dictopia: I've some star-dict dictionary in my uSD-data-partition,
but I don't know how to instruct Dictopia about where they can be found.
Is there any configuration file I can edit?

You can download existing english-cz dictionary which is in debian and check
where it places the dictionaries.

Regards

Radek

Re: [QtMoko] Dictopia Qgcide

2011-04-28 Thread sferic
Hi,

dictopia expect the dictionaries in the folder /usr/share/stardict/dict. I
have made a softlink from my dictionary-folder on the sd card to this folder
with success (e.g. ln -s /media/card/stardict/ /usr/share/). Subfolders
are not recognized, so you can use them as a stock for dictionaries which
you are not using.

Re: [QtMoko] Dictopia Qgcide

2011-04-27 Thread Dmitry Chistikov
About Qgcide: I let it download the dictionary
(/media/card/.qgcide/gcide-entries.xml.gz) but it turn out that I've not
enough space on the partition. Moreover that is a vfat partition and so
I can't make symbolic links in it. Is there a way to set a different
 location for the dictionary?

You can try
mount --bind PATH MOUNTPOINT
(that is, PATH is a directory where you have enough available disk
space and MOUNTPOINT is a directory where you want to have it)
or something similar (man mountCR/bindCR).

2011-04-27 Thread urodelo
If I remember well the dictionaries should be under
Application/Dictionary. However, some time ago I've reported that
qdictopia doesn't recursively look inside subfolders. I think this isn't
fixed yet. i'm using the same kind of dictionaries which are working well
on shr.
