There is a thread on the SHR user mailing list about this issue.
I don't think there was any consensus on what causes it or how to
avoid it though.

after a fall of 75cm. No big deal, you would say.
However, since then, the GSM connection is unpredictable and unreliable. A

reinstall some packages with a magic command:
