I setup custom navigation shortcuts CTRL+Fn to switch between workspaces

On Unity, when no application is open or on a workspace without

just tried r3003 from the compiz testing ppa, the issue is still there,
I can't click on the confirmation dialog, I also get the decorations on
the wrong side since today's update (i.e on the right), not sure if
that's a compiz or unity change though

confirmed by downgraded to r2999 from yesterday, the decorator has
buttons on the left again, upgrading to 3003 they are on the right,
there is an issue with compiz

the decorator buttons issue might be a packaging but, it seems the
current testing ppa source has no patches at all, which means i.e the
ubuntu config got dropped

Public bug reported:
This seems to be similar to lp bug #685552 but I see this with 12.04 and
the latest unity (currently 5.4.0 RC1). Instead of SIGSEGV my desktop
freezes. What I usually do is go to terminal (ctrl+alt+f1) and killall
Xorg. After I login, I can actually see the screenshot plugin
One more comment:
- this only happens to me when enabling the plugin, disabling seems to work fine
- the desktop doesn't freeze completely. I can move with mouse cursor. It is
just that clicking doesn't do anything and desktop doesn't react on keyboard

laptop does it.

I'm trying to update to compiz 1:0.9.7.0~bzr2995-0ubuntu3 but the
package (along with epiphany-extensions) is being held back. I double-
checked and I have all of the dependencies, but it's telling me that I
would need to uninstall ubuntu-desktop to upgrade it!

Public bug reported:
Using the Orca screen reader with compiz in precise. Orca uses the
number pad for navigating the contents on the screen, this is when
numlock is turned off.
With a recent compiz update, using some of these number pad commands for
orca causescompiz to move me to the workspace
