I'm also observing a similar (or the same?) problem on a Panasonic Toughbook. This only started to fail today. Apport crash tool registers the problem and tries to submit over the Internet. Could this be related to apport 2.20.1-0ubuntu2.15 as I believe this was released yesterday and I applied
