Just encountered this on Ubuntu MATE 15.10 for the Raspberry Pi 2. The file /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/compiz/libstaticswitcher.so is in compiz-plugins-default and compiz-plugins but the packages are not marked as conflicting. Consequently Compiz can't be installed, or upgraded, on armhf. **
