I looked into this too:
oakfoam would not benefit a lot from more cpu power at the moment, with
4 cores I mix 10 playouts with the value net in the ratio (3:7) at the
moment.
In case of buying a Ryzen: take care the board allows two GTX1080 Ti
(wait till end of march to buy them) and buy a power
Oh, you are using a value net? How did you train it? I don't see anything
about it in the bitbucket repository...

yes, it is trained from 4d+ kgs games (about a million I think). I am
not sure if I put the actual training scripts into my branch right now.
And I did not document how to combine both nets after training, but it
is straight forward, caffe allows to load multiple caffemodel files and
saves a new
