I'm stumped.
When I go to shut down the computer I get a small window giving me the
option to perform an upgrade and then when finished the PC will shut down.
So I tell it to do the upgrade, but somewhere in the process it fails to
install. I have even tried the upgrade option in Internet
problems with .Net updates on some
systems - these are solvable but a little painful. In the meantime, when
you choose shutdown from the start button, you might see an option (in
small print) to click on to shut down without installing pending updates.
